This was a silent German film based on Bram Stokers Dracula. In the era when Nosferatu was created they did not have the rights to take Bram Stokers novel and let out a film. These film evisceraters decided to change the name Dracula to Nosferatu which is mostly perceived as Undead, or vampire. How ever, this term is not in the Romanian dictionary. Later in nineteen ilxxx Werner Herzog remade Nosferatu. In the year two thousand a abhorrence film named Shadow of The Vampire was released. This film was directed by E. Elias Merhige a lso featuring the talented actors John Malkovich and Willem Dafoe. Shadow of The Vampire takes us back to nineteen twenty Germany. John Malkovich plays the exercise of film director F.W Murnau.
